Public Participation at Stock Parish Council meetings

The procedure for taking Public Participation questions at Stock Parish Council meetings is being revised.

From our next meeting, to be held at Stock Cricket Club pavilion on Tuesday 9 July at 7pm, the Chair will only take one question per public attendee.

Any question for the Council must be submitted to Stock Parish Council by email to clerk@stock-pc.gov.uk at least three (3) working days before the meeting. This will give time for Councillors to consider the question and prepare an appropriate response for the meeting.

A public participant delivering a question will be given up to two (2) minutes to present it to all at the meeting.

It is hoped that, by introducing this new procedure, all public participants attending an Stock Parish Council meeting will have the time and opportunity to ask their questions.

The Chair will only be taking other minimal questions from the floor if considered appropriate.

We look forward to your future attendance at our meetings and receiving your questions accordingly.
