Stock Parish Council commissioned works to remove potentially dangerous branches from four dead trees on Stock Common.
The work was carried out to remove the trees by a qualified arborist on Saturday 18 January, following contact from concerned villagers that dead branches had fallen into Common Road during recent high winds.
As the Parish Council has the responsibility for tree care on the Common, planning permission was sought and granted for the work to the carried out.
As part of The Parish Council has also agreed to plant new trees in place of those dead trees which have been removed.
