Today, 18 March 2026, Stock Parish Council attended court relating to the above case.

We are delighted to state that Stock Parish Council were rewarded full costs by the court of £66,381.50, following the withdrawal of proceedings brought by K.Spiller, following the collapse of their case.

This is a victory for Stock Parish Council having lost a valid clerk and councillors, plus a vast amount of time, legal costs and stress over the past couple of years.

We would like to thank all of those who supported us by signing the SPC petition for Stock Common Car Park, which totalled 921 signatories.

As a Parish Council, we can now begin to pursue the works that have been postponed because of this action brought against us.
