A section of Mill Road will be partially closed for Cadent to carry out gas pipe upgrade works between 1-17 August 2026.

The old pipes will be replaced with new plastic pipes.

Essex Highways works are currently underway in Mill Road and will end on 31 July 2026.

Open Reach are currently working in Downham Road on telegraph pole installation with associated cabling works. This work takes place on 9-10 July.

Diversions will be put in place along Mill Lane and Downham Road at times during the periods specified.
