Stock Parish Council urgently need your help to purchase the former football ground in Mill Lane, Stock, to return it to a sports and leisure ground for the benefit of all parishioners.
Villagers and local businesses will receive a leaflet and promissory note form explaining the process by which Stock Parish Council would like the land to be purchased into a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation).
The site would be transformed into a sport and leisure facility for all villagers to enjoy for perpetuity.
Any surplus funds would be put towards the installation of amenities, including a pavilion for a range of indoor leisure activities and changing facilities.
If the required sum of £500,000 is not reached then all promissory notes will be cancelled and all donations will be refunded in full.
Please help Stock Parish Council acquire the former football ground by donating as much as you can to stop any illegal incursions or development of the land.
