A Remembrance Service will be held at the Stock War Memorial on Sunday 9th November commencing at 10.45.am as organised by the Unity Committee on behalf of Stock Parish Council. This year there will be no road closures or parade marches along the road by local groups. The Royal British Legion will bring representation and the Standard Bearer from the Royal British Legion Hall to the War Memorial taking the pathway along Common Road and the High Street. When the service at the War Memorial has ended, the Royal British Legion representatives will return to the Hall with Church representatives, where a final service will take place. Wreath bearers will congregate by the War Memorial and lay their wreaths according to order.

As the road will remain open during the service the Public attending are requested to keep to the footpath on the High Street and to the area surrounding the War Memorial and Service. Stock Parish Council wardens will be in attendance to ensure that people keep to the safe areas and off the road. Your cooperation on this will be much appreciated.
